Atos has secured a major contract with the European Commission worth up to €326 million to deliver technical operations cybersecurity services under the CLOUD II DPS II MC17 framework. The agreement stretches over a potential 48-month term and will place Atos as the primary provider under a “cascade” mechanism for EU institutions, agencies, and bodies in need of operational support, advisory services, and capacity building for cloud and information systems. The contract encompasses tasks such as incident response, digital forensics, threat intelligence and monitoring, malware analysis, and offensive security (e.g. vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, red team exercises).
Working in consortium with Leonardo, Atos will combine its cybersecurity expertise with Leonardo’s complementary capabilities to bolster the resilience and security posture of EU digital infrastructure. This contract strengthens the company’s role as a key partner for European cyber defense amid rising regulatory pressures and geopolitical risks, and reflects the EU’s commitment to investing in strategic and sovereign cybersecurity capabilities.
