MISP 2.5.44 is a hotfix release primarily addressing a synchronization failure involving events without tags. During pull operations, the system could attempt to compare local and remote tag fields that were absent from untagged events, causing the process to fail. The update resolves this by treating missing tag data as empty arrays, allowing untagged events to synchronize normally.
The release also expands the Bootstrap 5-based Overmind interface across organization, role, analyst-data, workflow, bookmark, news, correlation-rule and blocklist pages. Additional fixes improve case-insensitive page registration, correct Overmind and Pivotick assets, and restore browser caching as the default in Debian, Ubuntu and RHEL installation scripts. MISP 2.5.44 introduces no schema-breaking changes, so administrators can upgrade through the standard update process.
